Hello all
9 members of our Chambersburg YMCA
Charger Swim Team have made the highly competitive time standards required to compete
in the National YMCA Short Course Swimming and Diving Championships held in
April 2-5. Several other members are
very close and are working hard towards this elite goal.
The primary expenses are air fare to/from Ft Lauderdale, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations for the week they spend in Ft Lauderdale. Throughout the year, the National Team conducts car washes, holds local raffles, and works concession stands to help to defray their expenses; however this only covers about 25% of the total cost.
We need donations to help defray the costs even further. A contribution in any amount will help. If you would like your name placed on our Website and National Team T-shirt as a team sponsor, the donation level begins at just $25.00.
