The Charger swim team seeks to promote the development of competitive excellence, personal growth, and team unity within each swimmer.

Opportunities are provided for each swimmer to compete at levels that are appropriate to his or her competence. At each level the swimmers are taught to strive for excellence. Excellence represents achievement of the level at which each individual knows that they have done their utmost to become the best that they are capable of becoming.
